This course provides a deepening immersion for those who have completed the foundational courses and are ready to integrate Gestalt Soul Care approaches into advanced personal and professional practice. This training focuses on secure relational contact, neuroscience-informed corroboration, generational healing, and experiential application. This course builds upon the self-awareness, somatic grounding, and relational presence cultivated in earlier training. Through theoretical and experiential learning, reflective practice, and live engagement, participants will learn to embody Gestalt Soul Care principles in complex, real-life settings.
Course Duration: Four one-day, in-person sessions in Virginia (32 contact hours)
Target Audience: This program is designed for practitioners spiritual companions, and helpers who are ready to bring Gestalt Soul Care into their unique settings - therapy, ministry, coaching, or everyday relationships.
Pre-requisites:
- Completion of the Gestalt Soul Care Grounding Basics, or demonstrated proficiency in Grounding Basics core elements.
- Ongoing personal spiritual or therapeutic practice for personal healing and growth..
- Readiness to engage in supervised direction, feedback, and embodied growth.
- Personal interview to assess readiness and alignment.
- Candidate eligibility determined during pre-registration process.
Learning Objectives/Outcomes:
- Foundational understanding of Gestalt Soul Care principles.
- Increased self-awareness and a toolbox for personal growth.
- Familiarity with somatic awareness and applications.
- Familiarity with 12 step framework.
- Ability to practice basic empathic listening skills.
- Basic knowledge of coaching techniques and questions.
Modules/Topics Covered:
Session 1: Relational Gestalt - explore how authentic encounter and embodied presence create the foundation for transformation. Learn to recognise and work with relational dynamics in one on one and group contexts.
Session 2: Neuroscience in Gestalt - integrate key insights from neuroscience to deepen understanding of body-mind-spirit-social context connection. Develop awareness of how the nervous system regulation shapes the healing process.
Session 3: Generational Patterns - Examine intergeneration influences on the soul's development. Learn to recognize and work with inherited emotional, spirityal and behavioral patterns within the Gestalt Soul Care framework.
Session 4: Practical Applications - Bring it all together through hands-on practice, live feedback and intefration of Gestalt Soul Care tools in personal and professional settings.
