I’m Alexandra, a Gestalt Soul Care Mentor who is passionate about supporting people to embrace and love all aspects of their authentic self.
I've been in recovery from addiction for over 30 years, and during that time, I’ve done a lot of therapy and deep 12 Step work. Then, in 2007, everything changed when I discovered Spiritually Integrated Gestalt work—it was the most powerful recovery experience I’d ever had. Even though I was a professional violinist at the time, I felt a strong calling to learn this healing practice (a true art form!) and share it with others. It took me from just getting by to truly thriving, and I knew I had to pass that gift on to anyone seeking it.
I work with individuals and groups using spiritually integrated Gestalt practices as the basis of a holistic process that pays close attention to the story of your journey using an awareness of your body, soul, mind, spirit and social context.
I call this work “Gestalt Soul Care.”
Gestalt Soul Care is the culmination of my training and experience in a synthesis of several components, including studies in Gestalt and a decade of immersive work with the Rev. Tilda Norberg, Dr. Sylvia Crocker, and the Gestalt International Study Center. I also bring to my work a synthesis of Coaching Principles, 12 Step Wisdom and Aesthetic Sensibilities gained from a career in music performance. All of these blended elements have equipped me to offer you a uniquely perceptive and in depth approach for accessing inner healing and growth. You can experience Gestalt Soul Care in several ways: one-on-one, or in group retreat settings, or in an intensive training program. The work is powerful and responsive to your unique needs and situation.
I will be supporting you every step of your journey, providing a safe, confidential, respectful and encouraging environment in which you can explore and discover the hidden parts of yourself. As you become aware of and more loving toward your previously unknown parts, you are then better integrated and equipped to sense, accept and understand your inner self. This deeper knowledge of self will empower you to move into a more free and joyful relationship with yourself and your world.
